THE WHITE STRIPES – SEVEN NATION ARMY | Hans Van Manen Ballet “Adagio Hammerklavier” (extract edit)

Edited a performance by the Dutch Nationale Ballet (a.k.a. HET Ballet) of Hans Van Manen’s ballet “Adagio Hammerklavier” (a dance for three couples). All of the dancers are fantastic in this! And this has to be one of my favorite Van Manen wardrobes. The ladies look like sweet birds and the men look like ghetto-90210 lol (R.I.P. Luke Perry).
The dancers (in order of appearance):
—Couple #1) Miss Anna Ol (my favorite ballerina in the whole world) & Artur Shesterikov
—Couple #2) Igone de Jongh & Jozef Varga
—Couple #3) Anna Tsygankova & Daniel Camargo
They are all unbelievable! It wasn’t too long ago that I saw both Igone & Miss Tsygankova dance for the first time, and they are both such exquisite ballerinas with their own unique, yet subtle signatures. And Artur, Jozef, and Daniel are amazing, as always. 🙂

They are, in my humble opinion, the best ballet company the world over, and home to Miss Anna Ol herself, along with dozens of the best dancers the world has to offer. They are incredibly generous and upload a ton of long ballet clips, as well as FULL ballet performances and dance films (yes, you read that correctly)!
