STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN – SUPERSTITION | Dance Solo & Duet | “Rose” Dance Film by Milena Sidorova extract

Dedicated to my loving mother.
I edited the final bar scene (very slightly) of Milena Sidorova’s flawless dance film “Rose.” This scene features a solo by Bela Erlandson and then a duet between him and Beatriz Kuperus (who plays Rose). I have to say this solo choreography and Bela’s performance rivals (what maybe was?) my favorite male solo—Nikita Chetverikov in “Radio & Juliet” (on the Russian Big Ballet TV show). I’m obsessed—it’s TOO good!
I made only minor edits and changed the music to Stevie Ray Vaughan’s live cover of “Superstition” (in my mother’s honor).

This film is a MUST see!!! Milena Sidorova directed & choreographed “Rose,” and she has crafted a truly outstanding work of art! (Produced by the Dutch National Ballet.)
