SPOON – DO I HAVE TO TALK YOU INTO IT | “Rose” Dance Film extract | Beatriz Kuperus & Bela Erlandson

This is my edit of the final scene in Milena Sidorova’s flawless dance film “Rose.”
This scene features Beatriz Kuperus as Rose and Bela Erlandson as the man of her dreams (mine too haha). Bela enters the bar and dances a solo, then we see Rose’s fantasy duet with her dream man.
I have to say this solo choreography and Bela’s performance is tied with Nikita Chetverikov dancing “Radio & Juliet” (with Inna Bilash) on Bolshoi Ballet for title of my favorite male solo performance. And Beatriz is absolutely stunning!
This film is more than a work of art—it is perfection!

I made a few edits and changed the music to “Do I Have To Talk You Into It” by Spoon. I love how the mood of the song and dance compliment each other. — HOWEVER the REAL dance in the film is the best and always will be!!!

“Rose” is a dance film you MUST see!!! Milena Sidorova directed & choreographed the entire production, and she, along with the dancers, camera crew, etc., have all crafted a truly stunning piece! (Produced by the Dutch National Ballet.)
NOW—“Rose” is a film with a STORY! My video here is just an edited extract; it cannot show more than just the choreography, (which is fantastic on it’s own), but the true richness of the piece can only be felt by watching the REAL, FULL, and unedited dance film (which you can watch for free, courtesy of the Dutch National Ballet) by clicking here — https://youtu.be/yZSMwCiAHeQ

AND! Please check out the Dutch National Ballet’s channel & subscribe! They are incredibly generous and upload a ton of long ballet clips, as well as FULL ballet performances (yes, you read that correctly), as well as dance films like “Rose”!
I thank the Dutch National Ballet for giving us poor souls, who could never watch your beautiful productions in person, access to them virtually—and free of charge!
*****Please consider donating to the Dutch National Ballet! I am sure that the SARS-CoV-2 situation hit them hard, and they could use our support. Let us all show them our sincere gratitude! 🙂 The original video has a web link in the description for how you can help!
