In Rossini’s opera classic, which Dutch National Opera last brought to the stage in 2018, Count Almaviva and Rosina are in love with each other, but Rosina’s guardian Bartolo wants her to marry him, in order to bring in her large dowry. But with the help of the clever Figaro, the two lovers come together after all.
