I love this choreography, and Miss Megan and Mr. Wortmeyer are amazing dance partners!
And is Miss Megan not the most beautiful creature you’ve ever seen?! I mean, goodness gracious! And I love her in this piece; she personifies Lana’s sweet voice with her physical beauty & graceful movements. When I watch her dance, my eyes are always drawn to her hands. I don’t know how to explain why they are so mesmerizing. You just have to see for yourself! Oh—and don’t even get me started on Mr. Wortmeyer…. I feel like any video with him dancing should have a content warning at the beginning! Lol (See bottom paragraph for more info on THAT.)

PS: TRUE STORY, I was watching the Dutch Nationale Ballet’s performance clip of the “Frank Bridge Variations” by Hans Van Manen, and Remi started doing these leaps or jumps (or whatever the proper term is) where—oh my goodness—I had to stop the video. It turns out that the expression “blew my mind” isn’t all that hyperbolic after all.
All I could think was—what just happened to me…? Like, Remi’s dancing, it was something done TO me. I was like, I didn’t entirely consent, but I would have…. I don’t know why, but I feel a teensy bit violated, I think… maybe…. I think I need to call Dr. Clucas (my psychologist) haha.
