PANIC AT THE DISCO – THIS IS GOSPEL [Piano Version] | Ballet Duet La Source (Bijou) | Remi Wortmeyer

Pointe Pas de Deux “La Source (aka Bijou)” by Remi Wörtmeyer and performed by the lovely Erica Horwood & Sébastien Galtier for the Dutch National Ballet (2012).
Mr. Wörtmeyer is certainly one of my favorite choreographers, and it was actually his Pas de Deux “Penumbra” with Anna Ol (the one and only!) performed at the Dance Open Gala that started me on this winding-road through the world of ballet. His work is so beautiful, soft, gentle, and yet simultaneously striking.

I edited the video a little and changed the music to the piano version of “This is Gospel” by Panic at the Disco performed by just Brendan Urie on his piano. Brendan Urie is my favorite vocalist, and I particularly love hearing him live with only the piano. It’s enough to make me cry.
The video I extracted the song from is wonderful! I highly recommend watching it! — https://youtu.be/jO2_3pVd5k0

I can’t express how important it is to watch the ACTUAL work of art! My video is just an edit and could never do justice to the artwork’s true beauty! SO PLEASE watch the REAL, unedited performance by clicking here!!! — https://youtu.be/_qTIbzvRstk

AND! Please check out the Dutch National Ballet’s channel & subscribe! They are incredibly generous and upload a ton of long ballet clips, as well as FULL ballet performances and dance films (yes, you read that correctly)!
I thank the Dutch National Ballet for giving us poor souls, who could never watch your beautiful productions in person, access to them virtually—and free of charge!
*****Please consider donating to the Dutch National Ballet! I am sure that the SARS-CoV-2 situation hit them hard, and they could use our support. Let us all show them our sincere gratitude! 🙂 The original video has a web link in the description for how you can help!
