During the Opera Forward Festival 2021, seven spoken word artists responded to Kurt Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins with performances of their own. In this video you can see Danny X Kuiper’s performance about the deadly sin ‘Gluttony’. As a father of two daughters and a former soldier, Danny knows only too well which monsters are lurking under the bed. He dares to grab them by the horns and call them by name.
