A moving monologue accompanied by the enchanting music of Bushra El-Turk, who weaves Oum Kalthoum’s melodies into her new composition.
This production is a collaboration between Dutch National Opera, the Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest (‘Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra’), and Meervaart.
