Suriname in Concert – Celebrating 50 Years of Independence
On 23 November 2025, Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam hosted a vibrant tribute to half a century of independence for Suriname. A dazzling ensemble of iconic artists brought Surinamese classics to life, celebrating unity, heritage and culture across Afro, Indigenous, Javanese, Hindustani and Chinese roots.
