Step Battle 2024 | Step Into Dance
This year, Step into Dance’s sold-out Battle event celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop, along with Breaking becoming a sport at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Battle showcased Hip-Hop dance in all its forms and included an introductory workshop, an energetic lunchtime activity (‘7-2 smoke’), a performance by our Youth Dance Company, SYNC, and the highly anticipated dance battle.
Step into Dance is a Royal Academy of Dance programme in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation, an organisation that empowers young people and widens their opportunities through grant giving and achievement recognition.
