Noelia Martinez 1/4 Robot | Global Disability Summit | Video Profile
Noelia Martinez’s love for dance started as a young girl and has only grown stronger over the years. But at just 26, she was faced with a life-changing challenge when diagnosed with breast cancer. After completing treatment, Noelia faced another hurdle: a loss of sensation in her right leg due to peripheral neuropathy, a nerve condition that can be caused by chemotherapy or radiation.
Determined to find her way back into her ballet shoes, Noelia worked relentlessly to regain her strength and pursue her passion. But her journey didn’t stop there. She also launched a project to create dolls that represent children with disabilities, helping them feel seen and understood. Watch to learn more about Noelia’s inspiring story and how she’s making a difference for kids everywhere.
