The dance film Memento is a choreography made at a time when the world stood still for a while. Kuindersma chose the title because her creation will always remind her of this special time. The choreography in her dance film is set to Henryk Górecki’s Symphony of Sorrowful Songs, a song that expresses deep sorrow and love.
