Colombian superstar and passionate football fan J Balvin lit up the stage at the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup™ final halftime show with his performance of “Reggaeton.”
Produced by Global Citizen, the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup™ final halftime show showcased headliners J Balvin, Doja Cat, and TEMS. This history-making performance featuring artists from five continents wowed fans in the stadium and around the world, with a dedicated platform assembled in the upper stands at MetLife Stadium to deliver a full concert-like experience — while ensuring the pitch remained untouched for the match. The show also included a surprise performance by Coldplay, who were joined by Emmanuel Kelly, the world’s first differently abled pop artist to perform in a halftime show.
The show supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise USD 100 million to give children around the world greater access to quality education and football. One dollar from every ticket sold for the tournament goes directly toward the fund — showing how the power of football and music can drive global impact.
The first-ever FIFA Club World Cup™ halftime show was curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay and presented by Panini.
