Global Citizen Prize Winner Khanyisile Motsa Uplifts Trafficked Girls | Global Citizen Prize 2022

Affectionately known as Mam’Khanyi, Khanyisile Motsa is the Founder and Director of Home of Hope for Girls, established in Johannesburg over 20 years ago. Home of Hope rehabilitates children who have been sexually exploited, trafficked, and orphaned, creating a safe home environment to help nurture and educate them. This year’s Global Citizen Prize: Citizen Award South Africa winner, Khanyisile lives the ethos that a girl’s background doesn’t define her future and, given the chance, she can be a leader for her community.
