The Government of Brazil pledges $72 million to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, recognizing that the climate crisis is also a health crisis — and Global Citizen officially surpasses its $1 billion target for the Amazon at Global Citizen Festival: Amazônia on November 1, 2025, in Belém, Brazil.
