Concertgebouw Prijs voor Amerikaanse jazztrompettist Wynton Marsalis

De trompettist Wynton Marsalis ontving als eerste jazzmusicus de prestigieuze Concertgebouw Prijs. De prijs werd uitgereikt tijdens een besloten galaconcert op maandagavond 11 oktober. Tijdens hetzelfde galaconcert kreeg ook de Palestijnse zangeres en fluitiste Nai Barghouti de Concertgebouw Young Talent Award uitgereikt. source
