Richard Wagner’s Parsifal (full) Dutch National Opera

In the last years of his life, Wagner was increasingly concerned with the spiritual, in which the theme of ‘redemption’ – which had long characterised his works – is essential. He was open to ideas from both Buddhism and Christianity. This explains the religious aspects of Parsifal, which were not readily understood in Wagner’s day. The stream will start on Easter Friday at 2pm (CET) and will remain online until April 17th.
