On 2 July 2022, Dutch National Opera Studio performs Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas in Paradiso. In the video series ‘From Audition to Performance’, we follow the members of the Opera Studio on their journey, from the very first auditions to the performance in Paradiso in Amsterdam.

In this first episode of ‘From Audition to Performance’ we follow sopranos Elenora Hu and Claire Antoine as they audition for the same role. Artistic leader Rosemary Joshua will have to decide who will fit the role the best. Watch and see how the whole audition process takes place!
