EXIT from the theatre of war
This International Men’s Day the theme is better health for men and boys. RAD Australia’s Franco Leo spoke with Romàn Baca, Artistic Director of EXIT 12 Dance Company in New York about how he and his company are using dance to support Military Veterans by working with them to share their stories and move forward through civilian life. Romàn also shares his own very personal story and the effects combat in the Iraq war had on him, and why going back to Iraq as an artist to work with Iraqi youth through dance was important.
