On 4 September, we open our season with Der Zwerg. Get into the mood with this behind the scenes video featuring the beautiful decor!

With Alexander Zemlinsky’s opera, based on Oscar Wilde’s fairy tale, our new chief conductor Lorenzo Viotti opens the 21/22 opera season. Der Zwerg is an opera about exclusion based on looks. Watch this video to see how costume designer Wojciech Dziedzic and director Nanouk Leopold transform this notion visually.
