During the Opera Forward Festival 2021, seven spoken word artists responded to Kurt Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins with performances of their own. In this video you can see the performance of the deadly sin pride by Stryder. “Personally, I am intrigued by the fact that pride is not initially considered a sin by a lot of people. Pride has a blinding effect on people and sometimes causes us to intentionally do what is bad for us.” Enjoy watching and let us know what you think!
