Ragazze Quartet & Martijn Cornet – Schubert's Winterreise – Empty Concertgebouw Sessions

📺 Tonight at 6 p.m. on YouTube, Facebook and our website!

The Ragazze Quartet, together with Martijn Cornet, will perform parts of Winterreise, Schubert’s most famous song cycle tonight. Wim ten Have arranged the much-loved piece especially for baritone and string quartet.

You hear a typically romantic ‘Wanderer’: a traveler through the world and the soul. Schubert’s narrator wanders, contemplating about love and life, under harsh conditions through winter nature. This journey is not just a journey: it is a journey into the unknown.

The Empty Concertgebouw Sessions are made possible by Van Lanschot Kempen.
