Aria from Mefistofele – FAUST [working title]

This moving aria, ‘L’altra notte in fondo al mare’, originally comes from Arrigo Boito’s opera Mefistofele, and can be heard here in a recomposition by the British composer Grace-Evangeline Mason. Mefistofele should have opened our season, but because of the Corona measures we had to revise our plans. Fortunately the makers Lisenka Heijboer Castanon and Manoj Kamps chose to use this fragment in FAUST [working title]. The aria is sung by the impressive soprano Olga Busuioc.
