Taoiseach (Prime Minister) of Ireland Micheál Martin explains Ireland’s three-part commitment to the people of Ukraine. Ireland committed funding for humanitarian aid to support Ukraine and surrounding countries, pledged to direct all REACT-EU funding available to Ireland to humanitarian purposes, and will treat Ukrainians as EU citizens, meaning they will receive support like social welfare, accommodation and housing support, education, and health care.
