In this brand-new production, conductor Raphaël Pichon and theatermaker Romeo Castellucci, along with the musicians of the Pygmalion ensemble, bring opera back to its 16th-century roots, with love as the central theme. The result? A breathtaking performance, taking the audience on a journey between reality and dream: from torture practices to love machines.
