Ravel: Kaddisch from Deux mélodies hébraïques – Daniel Bard

Kaddish is an important Jewish prayer used at funerals. Daniel Bard, concertmaster of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, plays this arrangement by Maurice Ravel as a tribute to the unburied victims of war.

In ‘Compassion’ conductor and composer Iván Fischer has put together a very diverse programme, with compassion at its core.
