$35 Million Commitment Announced for Frontline Communities | Global Citizen Festival: Amazônia 2025
Isabelle Nogueira, Co-Host, and Ursula Vidal, Journalist and Secretary of Culture of Pará State, welcome Jader Barbalho Filho, Minister of Cities of Brazil, to announce a $35 million commitment from the Soros Economic Development Fund (SEDF) in support of frontline communities. The commitment focuses on promoting inclusive growth and sustainable development at Global Citizen Festival: Amazônia on November 1, 2025, in Belém, Brazil.
