We have a history of using the Seeedfuinbo XIAO here in the DroneBot Workshop, starting with the first (SAMD21) board, which I reviewed and used in several projects. Well, since then, the family has grown; there are over a dozen XIAO boards, and each is worthy of your consideration.

The XIAO Family includes microcontrollers such as the ESP32-S3, RP2040, and MG24. Every XIAO board has identical power requirements, uses 3.3-volt logic, and has the same pinout. This makes prototyping a breeze, and I’ll show you a few prototyping tools I have collected for the Seeeduino XIAO.

Today, we will check out every member of the XIAO family. We will also hook up a XIAO to a few peripherals and use the same circuit with three different XIAO boards.

Here is the Table of Contents for today’s video:

00:00 – Introduction
01:33 – XIAO Family
04:59 – XIAO Hookup
06:50 – General Purpose Boards
09:00 – XIAO RP2040 Dual-Core Demo
