Global Citizen Prize Winner Brianna Fruean Is Acting for Climate Justice | Global Citizen Prize 2022

Brianna Fruean has been leading grassroots community projects pushing for climate justice ever since she first noticed the impacts of climate change on her island home of Samoa as a child. At just 11, she became climate organization’s youngest country coordinator, and at 16, she became the youngest winner of the Commonwealth Youth Award. This year’s Global Citizen Prize: Citizen Award Samoa winner, Brianna is a proud climate warrior, working to bring small island representation and young Pacific voices to the forefront of global climate conversations.
